Over the past few weeks, our team has had the privilege of participating in several community initiatives that reflect our commitment to vulnerable populations and our local communities. These actions, made possible thanks to the dedication of our teams and partners, have provided support, care, and comfort to those who needed it most.
Vaccination Clinic for Homeless Youth’s Animals
We took part in the vaccination clinic organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for animals belonging to homeless youth. This initiative helped reach a often-marginalized group by offering essential access to preventive care, while strengthening the bond of trust between the youth and their animals—often a key source of emotional stability.
La Nuit des sans-abris – Lanaudière
In parallel, in partnership with Elanco, our teams in Lanaudière mobilized during Joliette’s “Nuit des sans-abris,” where their presence helped support local organizations and participants throughout the evening. Thanks to the combined efforts of employees, volunteers, and the community, a significant amount of donations was collected, providing warm clothing, food, and essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Animo pour la Vie Foundation
Meanwhile, the “Griffe-o-thon” once again highlighted the generosity of our clients and the dedication of our teams. The event raised a total of $3,525.17 and provided care to 100 patients throughout the day. All funds were donated to the Animo pour la Vie Foundation, helping save even more animals from euthanasia!
Finally, the Family Day organized by the Laurentides Veterinary Hospital was another highlight of our community involvement. Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of families and partners, we raised $1,691, an amount that will directly support the Animo pour la Vie Foundation in helping families save their companions.
These initiatives, though diverse in nature, all share the same guiding thread: our commitment to contributing to the health, well-being, and dignity of every member of our communities. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who gave their time, energy, and heart to make these events collective successes.
