This year, our collaboration with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will unfold through a series of activities designed to support student training, engagement, and well-being.
Throughout the year, we have the honor of supporting several student clubs, including the behavior, emergency medicine, surgery and anesthesia, dentistry, zoological medicine, as well as internal medicine and cardiology clubs. Our material, professional, and educational support has enabled these groups to continue their activities, organize meetings, and offer practical workshops to students.
In a spirit of accessibility and student well-being, the Café Beagel initiative provided free popcorn to all students for a full day during the session—a simple but much-appreciated gesture that helped lighten the load during more demanding study periods.
Among the social events, we notably supported the first-year students’ Beach Party, a festive occasion allowing new students to build connections early in their academic journey, as well as the traditional Vétathlon, a friendly sports competition bringing together students, residents, and members of the faculty community for dynamic and collaborative activities.
Our presence at the Pub de la Licorne was also marked this year by the addition of our logo on the official mugs, as well as our support for two Dollarabar evenings, during which students enjoyed a relaxing moment in a welcoming atmosphere.
We were also partners of the prestigious Graduation Ball, a celebration marking the completion of the academic journey of new veterinarians.
Finally, two student-dedicated evenings were organized to showcase our key programs:
-
our internship program offered in our centers;
-
our mentorship program, designed to guide young veterinarians through their first years of practice.
These evenings, which included dinner and a conference at the Convention Centre, concluded with a lively late-night gathering at Dooly’s, allowing for great discussions and meaningful exchanges between our teams and the next generation.
As in every year, these various initiatives through our partnership with the Faculty play an active role in supporting the training, well-being, and professional development of future veterinarians.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to these activities—your involvement truly helps Vet et Nous shine among the next generation.
