“As far back as I can remember, I have always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. This calling gave me the strength and energy to undertake the long road to becoming a doctor. Choosing a specialization came later in my curriculum, but internal medicine was again an obvious choice. My passion for this profession, working in a dedicated and caring team, and the desire to provide the best possible care to your animals are my daily driving forces.”
Dr. Binvel obtained her doctorate at the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort, in France, in 2014. She completed two internships in pet medicine in private centres in France, then completed her residency in pet internal medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 2020. Dr. Binvel graduated from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2021. Her training also includes a master’s degree in clinical veterinary sciences (MSc) in blood transfusion and blood typing in cats at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal.
