Vet et Nous is a multidisciplinary team composed of veterinarian both generalists and specialists operating at high rank whose mission is to take care of client’s pets as if they were our own. Our teams are split in 3 emergency and reference centres open 24/7 and several general practice hospitals in the greater Montreal, Laval, Montérégie, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Mauricie, Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean and Quebec region.
The Technical Services Coordinator manages and coaches the technical team leaders (general medicine—days, general medicine—evenings, surgery, intensive care, specialty medicine, exotic medicine, support team, and instrument specialist team) according to the company's values. He ensures that all teams deliver high-quality, professional services at all times, at the level of a Vet et Nous Group emergency centre. Working closely with general management, the Technical Services Coordinator optimizes staffing and workspace use, and oversees the operational planning of his teams' work processes.

Main responsabilities:
- Managing and supporting the development of technical team leaders (coaching, training and support).
- Acting as a key resource in the management of human resources, recruitment, payroll and technical operations.
- Overseeing the onboarding of new technical team members and ensuring that they receive appropriate training.
- Identifying operational issues, proposing and implementing long-term solutions, and developing change management strategies.
- Identifying training needs and scheduling training to maintain the technical team's skills up to date.
- Coordinating annual leaves and overseeing leave scheduling for the different teams.
- Managing health and safety, disability, preventive withdrawal and maternity leave cases.
- Planning, hosting and following up on team leader meetings.
- Collecting and organizing payroll information.
- Providing administrative support in replacement of other coordinators (annual leaves, absences, etc.).
- Actively participating in Centre management committees.
- Maintaining and running the AHT internship program.
- Promoting the CVL and the Vet et Nous group within the academic community.
- Performing any other duties as requested.
Requirements/skills required:
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in team management.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as an Animal health technician.
- Being familiar with an emergency centre environment is an asset.
- Bilingualism in English & French, both written and spoken.
- Strong commitment to providing professional and respectful customer service.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
