Dr. Asselin received her doctorate from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 1999. She then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Sonora Veterinary Specialists, a private practice in Arizona. She subsequently worked in various hospitals in Pennsylvania and Arizona before returning to Quebec.
