Oncology
As if he was our own!

Dr. Louis-Philippe de Lorimier has been part of our team since 2007. Every day, he makes a difference in our team and in your pets’ lives through his attention to detail, his extensive experience, his ability to rise to the challenge in the face of complex medical conditions, and his emphasis on the fact that each patient is an individual with their own unique characteristics.

“My own dog died of an aggressive cancer when I was studying veterinary medicine. Since that day, I have chosen to further my knowledge of oncology in order to fight those cells that otherwise just run amok. I put all my efforts and knowledge into the well-being of my patients – there is always hope.”

Dr. de Lorimier received his doctorate from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 1996. After a few years in general practice, he completed his residency in medical oncology at the University of Illinois in 2003, where he also taught until 2007. Dr. de Lorimier received his specialty degree in oncology from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2005.

An author of numerous scientific articles and reference books, Dr. de Lorimier also co-hosts since 2021 a podcast on veterinary medicine and everything surrounding it called Du Coq à l’Âne.
