Dr. Aurélie Lajoie-Filion graduated in 2020 and completed a general internship at the Centre vétérinaire Rive-Sud (CVRS) the same year. She joined the team in July 2020.
She chose this team to thrive professionally because it allows her to provide high-quality care according to the highest standards of veterinary medicine. She particularly enjoys the unpredictable and stimulating nature of emergency shifts, which keep her engaged and motivated.
As a child, her friends described her home as a “zoo.” Surrounded by animals of all kinds and passionate about medicine from a young age, becoming a veterinarian felt like a natural path.
Building a strong relationship with pet owners is central to her practice. She embraces a realistic approach to medicine and places great importance on guiding each owner thoughtfully, helping them make the best possible decision for themselves and their animal.
