“When choosing the profession that I would practise for life, I was inspired by my desire to care for and provide for the well-being of animals. I love the fact that I can constantly learn and develop my skills through continuing education. Even after 37 years in the business, I am still learning every year, which allows me to provide the best possible care to my patients. Because I know how important their pets are to them, my priority is always to establish a good relationship with pet owners so that they feel confident at every stage of their pets’ lives.
In addition to cats and dogs, I also treat exotic animals such as small birds, rabbits, rodents, and ferrets.”
Dr. Louise Balthazard received her doctorate at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in 1984.
