Dr. Marie Llido has been part of our team since 2021. Every day, she makes a difference in our team and in your pets’ lives through her thoroughness and her sense of collaboration.
“I’ve always been passionate about sports medicine and biomechanics, which steered me towards pet surgery. Having the opportunity to perform many different surgeries was very appealing to me. Whether it’s minimally invasive surgeries, fracture fixation, neurosurgery, or even oncology surgeries, I’m fortunate to be able to touch on these different aspects within my specialty.”
Dr. Llido received her PhD from the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Lyon, France, in 2018. She completed an advanced internship in applied veterinary sciences (IPSAV) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 2019, followed by a surgical specialty internship at the Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud in 2020 and a surgical specialty internship at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 2021. Dr. Llido is currently doing her 3-year residency in specialized surgery with our specialists at the Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud, which she started in 2021.
