Dr. Jérôme Auger has been part of our team since 2000. Every day, he makes a difference in our team and in your pets’ lives through his love of animals, his experience, and his meticulous surgical skills.
“I grew up in a family of veterinarians and developed a passion for animal care at an early age. My interest in intricate and meticulous manual tasks naturally led me to surgery and the challenges of performing many complex surgeries.”
Dr. Auger received his doctorate in Nantes, France, in 1986. He then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 1994, a fellowship in orthopedic research at the John Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore in 1995, and a surgery residency at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal from 1996 to 1999, in conjunction with a master’s degree in clinical sciences. In addition to being a graduate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) since 2000, Dr. Auger also graduated from the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) the same year.
