Vet et Nous is a multidisciplinary team composed of veterinarian both generalists and specialists operating at high rank whose mission is to take care of client’s pets as if they were our own. Our teams are split in 3 emergency and reference centres open 24/7 and several general practice hospitals in the greater Montreal, Laval, Montérégie, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Mauricie and Quebec region.
As of January 2023, we will offer a general dentistry service supported by our specialized anesthesia services. This service will be available in these Vet et Nous establishments: Centre Vétérinaire Montréal, Hôpital Vétérinaire Victoria Greenfield Park and Hôpital Vétérinaire Victoria Ste-Julie.
This general dentistry service is looking for an animal health technician available to work in one or more establishments.
This is a permanent position, either part-time or full-time depending on the applicant’s availability. The work schedule is during the day, from Monday to Thursday, and according to the facilities’ operational needs.

Main Responsibilities
- Admitting surgical patients;
- Administering medication;
- Performing drug calculations according to the anesthesia plan;
- Performing patient anesthesia;
- Performing the surgical preparation, making sure to apply aseptic/sterile techniques;
- Performing X-rays;
- Performing the required patient care;
- Providing post-operative recommendations to clients;
- Carrying out telephone and email follow-ups with customers;
- Assisting the veterinarian in consultation;
- Performing any other related tasks.
Requirements:
- Have an animal health technician diploma;
- Excellent presentation-customer service;
- Be bilingual (spoken and written);
- Be able to work in a team;
- Be able to adapt to stress;
- Have a sense of judgment;
- Care about the well-being of patients and their comfort;
- Be able to perform physical work;
- Be attentive to customers;
- Versatility and ability to multitask.
