“Since childhood, animals have been part of my life and amaze me every day. I wanted to do this profession so I could help animals, provide the best tools for their well-being and their health, while forging special bonds with their owners. I particularly enjoy working daily with the team at Hôpital Vétérinaire Ste-Thérèse, not least because they care for a wide variety of furry, feathered and scaly animals in a humane and family-oriented way.”
Dr. Poncet obtained her doctorate from the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Nantes in 2020, then completed a postgraduate internship in applied veterinary sciences (IPSAV) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 2021.
